Vintage circa 1950 Couture made blouse.
Very rare piece constructed from the most beautiful cotton floral fabric.
The cotton has a sheen and is crisp and soft and beautiful on the skin.
The blouse itself is couture made, by hand.
The front is open and closed with a full length zip placed centrally.
The zip is cocealed by the ruffled flap which fastens over the zip and is secured with poppers .
The Ruffle piece is longer than the front piece at the top, folds over at the throat and is secured with an internal popper.
The body of the blouse is darted at the bust and then has several inverted pintucks around the body of the waist line to ease the bulk when tucking it in.
The shoulders are pleated to give fullness to the sleeves and fastened at te cuff with double poppers.
